A participant’s place in the AMP IT UP Holiday Program will be confirmed when registration and payment is received.

All applicants will receive a detailed confirmation email within 48 hours of completing the online registration confirming dates, times and program details.

The AMP IT UP Holiday Programs provide a fun and safe environment for participants to:


Each AMP IT UP Holiday Program will be delivered with a ratio of 1 coach to every 10 participants, ensuring an engaging experience for each child.

AMP IT UP Holiday Programs are run in partnership with some of Australia’s leading sporting organisations: Hawthorn FC, Fremantle FC, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars and Melbourne City FC.

Our programs are available during school holidays and provide a dynamic 1 or 2 day program to develop participants’ skills in soccer, AFL, basketball, netball or cricket.

AMP IT UP coordinators are experienced and qualified teachers (registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching), with coaching staff studying in the sport and recreation industry through the SEDA program.

How do I register a participant?
  • All registrations and payment for AMP IT UP Holiday Programs are to be made online.
  • Following online registration and once payment has been made, participants will receive an email confirming their place in the AMP IT UP Holiday Program.
What are the age requirements for a participant?

The AMP IT UP Holiday Programs are open to those currently aged between 5-12 years old.

What are your procedures around medical conditions?
  • All medical conditions are required to be specified on the AMP IT UP registration form.
  • AMP IT UP coordinators hold an Apply First Aid and anaphylaxis certificate.
  • If participants require medication during the AMP IT UP Program, they are required to clearly label their medication.
  • In the event of an accident or illness, AMP IT UP staff will obtain all necessary medical assistance and treatment as per the Terms and Conditions.
What behaviour is expected of my child?

AMP IT UP expects participants to behave in a manner that makes the program an enjoyable experience for everyone. If participants display inappropriate behaviour, staff will follow management procedures. If participants continue to display inappropriate behaviour after management procedures have been followed, parents will be notified and their child removed from the AMP IT UP Holiday Program.

What is the wet weather policy?

AMP IT UP Holiday Programs are conducted in all weather conditions and will go ahead on wet days. All venues have an indoor or undercover area where activities can be delivered.

In incidents of wet weather, AMP IT UP staff will look to replicate scheduled games and activities indoors or undercover, however, modification to activities may be made to ensure participant safety.

What is the heat policy?

AMP IT UP Holiday Programs will go ahead on hot days with staff modifying activities to ensure the safety of participants. All venues have an indoor facility or an undercover area where the program can be delivered. Should weather conditions become too hot, staff will ensure they:

  • Allow regular drink breaks to keep participants hydrated.
  • Utilise areas with shade if available.
  • Deliver games that are of a low intensity whilst still highly engaging.
What clothing should my child wear?

Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that is comfortable and suitable for physical activity. Participants are more than welcome to wear their team colours to an AMP IT UP Holiday Program, however, this is up to the individual.

Can parents stay for the day?

Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch during an AMP IT UP Holiday Program. We encourage parents, as much as possible, to practice the skills developed in the program with their kids.

What food does my child need to bring? Will they be given time to eat?

Participants are encouraged to bring a healthy morning tea and lunch. There will be breaks during the program to allow time for participants to eat their food as well as reenergise for the activities throughout the day.

Please ensure your child does not bring any food with nuts due to allergies of other children at the program.

What is the cancellation policy?

AMP IT UP realises that circumstances can change and parents may need to cancel the registration of a participant. If a registration is cancelled more than 48 hours in advance, the payment will be refunded less a $20 administration fee.
